With Strings Attached

cl-101030-strings-100The focus is on the string section this week, with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, and two summer 2010 performances from Brevard.  Edvard Tchivzhel leads the GSO in music of Tchaikovsky, Telemann and Benjamin Britten, from a concert called "With Strings Attached" recorded at the Peace Center; JoAnn Falletta and the Brevard Music Center Orchestra play Tchaikovsky's homage to Mozart, and Brevard's Music Director Keith Lockhart serves up a sweet Carmen Suite.
