Greenville Symphony Orchestra: Opening Spectacular

The opening concert in the 2015-2016 concert series by Greenville’s orchestra paired a jazz-influenced showpiece by a composer closely associated with Impressionism, and a much-loved symphony by a great Russian Romantic. Then the program switches to a choral concert from Greensboro, NC’s acclaimed company with music exploring the themes of darkness and light.
