Gil Morgenstern, Artistic DirectorAs we settle into autumn Carolina Live travels back to summer for some great music making from regional festivals. Two chamber masterpieces by Robert Schumann serve as bookends for a program featuring highlights from An Appalachian Summer Festival in Boone, NC with the Broyhill Chamber Ensemble. In between is the Suite italienne from Stravinsky’s score for the ballet Pulcinella and a Serenade by Ernst von Dohnanyi.
