South Carolina Philharmonic Masterworks I: Autumn Romance

jennifer_frautschi-100x100From the South Carolina Philharmonic’s current Masterworks season, this program features soloist Jennifer Frautschi front and center in Korngold’s sumptuous concerto, which includes themes from his classic film scores for Hollywood’s Golden Age. The concert also includes a contemporary work by Mason Bates that’s gaining in popularity, as well as the ever-popular “Pathétique” Symphony by Tchaikovsky.
