Winston-Salem Symphony

cl-141116-250The Winston-Salem Symphony takes the stage for this edition of the program. From September 2013 there’s a concert that opens with music by a prolific contemporary composer commissioned for the 75th anniversary of the Tanglewood Festival, followed by the second symphonic effort by Sibelius. Then a program from October 2013 treats us to Mozart’s ever-popular serenade, plus the tuneful and ironic suite from one of Kurt Weill’s best-known music theater works.
